Counting The Number Of Errors In The Sheet

Very often you have to work with huge tables of data in Excel. There is a hard thing to cope with such a mess. In this lesson you will teach yourself how to count a number of errors in your sheet. To count number of errors in Excel you can use such a formula:

 

{=SUM(IF(ISERROR(A1:E1000);1;0))}

 

Explanation:A1:E1000 – this is a range of your data. You can change this part of formula to suit to your worksheet.

 

Note: Remember that this is an array formula, so you should use CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER key combination.
